A Visual Diary

Teaching: the journal as art

One theme that will be developed over the next few months will be how I encourage the use of journals and the development of creative strategies for students. I am responsible for a range of different modules relating to visual literacy and creative practice at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. For the vast majority of these modules journals and diaries are used to facilitate creative work. I’ll be using this space to share current work in the area and some of the results. We get some extraordinarily creative contributions from students in this area and here is an ideal place to share this material.
